I love coming to Open Road to grab a drink. The bar area is rather big and it's a nice place to meet up with people. They have some creative cocktails and decent assortment of beer on draft. They do have a happy hour menu, but it's not a huge cost savings. I like the complimentary popcorn in the bar area. The dining room is rather large and accommodates families and groups (just make sure you get a reservation). The menu is on the larger side, so easy to find something everyone will enjoy. Food can be a bit slow to come out at times. The food and drinks are always consistent. There is a tasting room, but the hours vary, so be sure to double check when they are open and available. You'll need a reservation as well. Don't get this confused with the "speakeasy" located in the back of the restaurant. Heirloom is incredible!! Amazing creative and complex cocktails and maybe one of the best burgers I've ate!

Open Road Mosaic has been our local watering hole for 4+ years now. We LOVE the service, the food, the cocktails, the live music and the overall ambiance. You always know what you are going to get and it is ALWAYS consistent. We learned about the Reston location because we love the old fashion and found out the the whisky was distilled in Reston so we knew we had to check it out. We went on a Sunday for the Commanders game and were sad in a semi private wing with lots of windows and natural light which was perfect for our large party with two kids. The vibes were similar to the Mosaic location, clean, cozy and lots of TVs! We had a grazing day. We ordered the nachos, sweet potato fries, brussels sprouts, birria quesadilla, brunch burger, and fig pizza. All of these items were delicious and reminiscent of the Mosaic location! One item that we received and were disappointed in was the loaded baked potato soup. It came out cold and was just meh. Will not repeat order. Overall, we loved the experience though I will say, we prefer the staff at Open Road Mosaic! That said, we will be back!

First time here watching Tampa Bay lightning against the Capitals on screen and vibe was great! Service was excellent by Gabriella and manager turned channel to our game. Had cava bruit and only ate Bar Food like french fries and pretzels which were okay. Complimentary popcorn was my favorite same restaurant group as El Bebe & Circa but service definitely stood out here!

Instead of bread and butter they serve popcorn but I will say it was a bit stale. They do have a tasting room for whiskey. I ordered the birria quesadilla and a drink. I wish the quesadilla had more meat in it. It was really thin and even though I expected it to fall apart but it was mostly tortilla and little meat. I think the tortilla was a corn tortilla. But the drink was strong. The quesadilla was still good I still wish it had a little more meat.

Sam was our waiter and he was very attentive and outgoing. He felt comfortable checking in with our table of three and was cordial but not distracting. The food we got was the blackened salmon, the fish tacos and the pretzel and the potato soup. The salman was loved by my guest as was the fish tacos. The pretzel was very good but the soup was lacking and it came out mildly cold. It also did not look or taste like it should for potato soup so I would pass on this appetizer until they figure out a better was to present it. Overall a good visit.

Came for a late brunch as we were in the area and was not disappointed. A pleasantly large space with a game area, a tasting room, and a shop to take home their distilled goods. Service was great. My only comment is that there walk from the back door (parking) to the front door (hostess) is pretty long with no signals to where we are supposed to be. A second checkin area, or at least a sign directing where to go, would be helpful as there were three people at the front and 0 in the back. The children's menu was satisfactory with a pretty large portioned cheese burger (and fries). I tried the open burger which came with a tasty onion ring. The biscuits and gravy were also excellent. We ended up with a doggy bag but satisfied. Would definitely return to try their tasting room!

Family told me about this place, really enjoyed. Large space in RTC, plenty of parking. Food was really good, had a chicken salad. Rest of group enjoyed theirs including the margaritas. Only knock was service, not terrible, but great confusion over Brunch vs Regular menu and had to ask twice for a few things. I will definitely be back.

Had lunch here. The ambiance was nice and the place was large and roomy. The business was a little slow for a Thursday afternoon. I sat at the bar and the tender was extremely attentive. Had the "open road burger" and it was very good. Prepared to order at medium rare. I would only say it was a little too large and stuffed. I could barely take a bite. The house fries were good with a fair amount of salt. This place looks like it could be a winner when you're looking to watch that big game. Hopefully they have a complete full sports package to support the plethora of TVs. On a final note the cocktails and craft brews are fully available and they have a game room for those so inclined.
